Claudia #1
hair chart:
- - Wavy
hair
- - Middle
parting
- - Messy
- - Bed
hair
For this
hair style I wanted the hair to appear as if it is never brushed so is
therefore messy, and as if she doesn’t care about her appearance. I would wave
the hair using hair tongs and lightly curling it and then brushing the curls
straight out. I would then put in some back comb to help create the messy, bed
hair look. Claudia doesn’t care about her appearance as she never goes out of
her home so she doesn’t feel the need to make an effort for anyone.
Claudia #2
hair chart:
- - Straight
hair
- - Middle
parting
- - Greasy
looking
For this look I want the hair to be dead
straight and I would use some water to dampen the hair to give the effect of
greasy hair. This gives the effect that again she doesn’t care about her hair
and clearly hasn’t washed it in a while. For the pictures I want the hair to be
falling onto her face and almost covering her eyes, kind of like she is hiding
from anyone who looks at her which can relate to her agoraphobia.
Claudia #3 hair chart:
- - Straight
hair
- - 2
front sections pinned back
- - ‘Young
girl’ looking
This look is different from all the rest as it
actually looks like she has made an effort with her hair. Whenever I think of
hair pinned out of the face I think of young girls because as a child mums tend
to clip the hair out of the face to prevent it from getting in their eyes or in
food etc. As Claudia has agoraphobia (fear of the outside) this can be
explained through her hair in the way that because she has no connection with
the outside world she is very ‘behind the time’ when it comes to hair styles
and still does her hair the way her mother used to do it. It could also explain
how she likes to keep her hair out of her face when she is torturing the people
she lures in so that she doesn’t make a mess of her hair.
